ANOTHER BUSY WEEK FOR CITS PARTNERS, NAVCIS!
NAVCIS have had an extremely hectic week. Over two nights, at the Channel Tunnel, they have been conducting an extensive operation alongside local police forces.
Over 600 HGV's and vans were stopped, both to verify ownership and to ensure all goods were legitimate.
All of the vehicles were thoroughly checked prior to being allowed to leave the Country.
NAVCIS have also been working this week in partnership with both Northumbria and Kent police. This has resulted in the recovery of a stolen Cat Excavator, which was valued at over £50k, alongside other stolen vehicles. Also recovered were 3 stolen German caravans, which were discovered in South Wales!
A number of significant arrests have been made by both police forces and investigations are on-going.
