A West Midlands based civils and groundworks company was visited by two men looking to hire a Takeuchi TB217 excavator. With paperwork, ID and payment all appearing legitimate, the machine was hired out and transported to London for work over the weekend.

A Northwest Civil engineering contractor protected his machines earlier this year and with contracts being undertaken in Lincolnshire he wanted to keep an eye on his fleet remotely. 

Luckily with the use of So Trak Plant tracker he was able to locate the stolen dumper which had been removed from site and left in a nearby industrial estate. 

Earlier this month, TritonTrak helped a Midlands-based groundworks company prevent the theft of a mini digger, leading to two arrests after a swift police operation.

The company was carrying out roadworks in Warwickshire when they were alerted by the TritonTrak Plant Telematics System to an unauthorized movement around 11:30pm On Tuesday 10th September.

Our customer's Yanmar C30R-2 tracked dumper was stolen from the Hatfield Heath area, and located at a site in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, from where it was recovered yesterday.

While everyone was enjoying bonfire night with fireworks and a Bailey’s hot chocolate, the TritonTrak team were working on the recovery of a Bobcat mini excavator that was stolen from a plant hire company in Derbyshire.

An East Sussex based Hire Company were shocked when in the middle of their busy working day had a Kubota stolen straight from their yard. They were delighted however when the So-Trak system did what it does best! The Police were contacted and in less than 24hrs had their Kubota safely recovered back in their yard!

Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) and ABAX worked in unison to recover a customer’s ZX33U-6 min-excavator that was reported stolen on April 18th.
