NaVCIS ASSISTS IN MACHINE RECOVERY
The NaVCIS police unit was contacted on July 12th by the Hungarian Border Control Police, who had stopped a lorry transporting 2 Volvo excavators.
Following police enquiries, it was established that the machines – total value of £100,000 - had been stolen from separate locations in Cleveland, Yorkshire. An urgent referral was sent to Interpol, and this enabled the machines to be seized.
