NaVCIS INVOLVED IN MULTI-AGENCY DORSET SEARCH
NaVCIS Rural Team visited a Dorset property with Dorset’s Rural Crime Team, HMRC and the Environment Agency, where they recovered a JCB Telehandler which had been stolen in 2019 from Bedfordshire.
In addition, a fuel laundering system was in operation, and an illegal waste site - described as the biggest Dorset’s Environment Agency had ever discovered – were found at that location too.
Further enquiries led police to a second address where a 2020 Mecalac TA1EH front dumper was also found. This had a counterfeit identity and is suspected to be stolen.
The value of both recovered machines is approximately £65,000.
Investigations are on-going.
