1) Joint police operation makes significant recovery!
On the 7th April 2024, specialist police units NCATT and NaVCIS intercepted a vehicle carrying a stolen John Deere compact tractor, together with other stolen items at the Port of Liverpool. The driver was arrested at the scene. Subsequent enquires have taken place which led the team to a secure unit in Liverpool, where other stolen items including three trailers.
The combined recovery is valued at almost £100,000.
Investigations are on-going.
2) Two Atlas Copco Generators Recovered!
On the 18th April 2024, NCATT attended a Doncaster location based on intelligence received, and found two high-value stolen Atlas Copco generators.
Investigations are on-going.
3) Multi-agency action recovers stolen JCB!
On the 19th April 2024, NCATT attended a rural location in Lancashire in conjunction with the Environment Agency and Lancashire Police. This resulted in locating a stolen JCB excavator, which was being used at an illegal waste site.
Further investigations are on-going.
4) A Stolen Wood Chipper Recovered!
On the 19th April 2024, after intelligence was received by the NCATT team, a stolen Forest Wood chipper was located and recovered in Accrington, Lancashire.
5) A Stolen Hamm Roller is Recovered in Shropshire!
Personnel from the NCATT unit, together with the assistance of West Mercia Police, located a stolen Hamm Roller which was concealed in a wooded area in Shropshire, on the 22nd April 2024.
Further investigations are on-going.
6) Stolen JCB – Arrest made!
On the 25th April 2024, NCATT assisted North Wales Police to locate a stolen JCB 3X, which was found stored near the Chester area. North Wales Police have made an arrest in relation to the theft.
7) NCATT recovers major machinery theft!
The specialist police unit NCATT, have located a stolen Kubota KX016-4 excavator in the Manchester area. Greater Manchester Police assisted with the recovery of the machine and made two arrests. As a result of that action, a further 12 items of stolen plant and agriculture machinery was located and recovered.
The total value of recoveries came to over £120,000.
