JOINT US, UK AND AUSTRALIAN ADVISORY ON INCREASED GLOBALISED THREAT OF RANSOMWARE
Cyber security authorities in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom saw an increase in sophisticated, high-impact ransomware incidents against critical infrastructure organisations globally throughout 2021.
Ransomware tactics and techniques continued to evolve, showing ransomware threat actors’ growing technological sophistication and an increased threat to organisations.
CITS urge all companies to keep up to date with the National Cyber Security Centre advise, and their mitigation recommendations, to help reduce the risk of compromise by ransomware.
