HITACHI ZX33-6 MINI-EXCAVATOR QUICKLY RECOVERED
Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) and ABAX worked in unison to recover a customer’s ZX33U-6 min-excavator that was reported stolen on April 18th.
The machine was fitted with an ABAX tracking device and supplies data to HCMUK through Hitachi’s ConSite Portal. Through this channel of information, ABAX was able to verify the tracker was still connected and reported accurate locations of the machine, which allowed HCMUK to supply the data back to the client.
With police assistance, the machine was recovered and returned to the customer before 1pm on the same day it was reported as stolen.
