CITS ALERT- FORD TRANSIT RECOVERY TRUCK BEING USED IN NUMEROUS THEFTS!!!
Clancy Docwra fell victim back in April at their South East Water Morley Road depot, whereby the subsequent theft of a Komatsu PC14 Mini Excavator and an ATE twin axel Trailer were stolen. There was evidence that a padlock had been cut to gain entry to the depot. In this particular theft the thieves were wearing dark clothing and white face masks. The trailer and excavator were later found laid up in a quiet location in East Peckham, Kent. The tracker had been deactivated. Other stolen items are still missing including a breaker.
At the theft of the pressure washer the criminals were wearing ppe and drove into a building site, where they asked to collect the off hired plant, unwittingly this is where they were directed to the pressure washer, where they subsequently hitched it up and drove it away.
There have now been reports that the same transit van has been seen driving around the SE London/ NW Kent area stealing more plant. The registration plate is: PX05-CEF!
