CITS THEFT ALERT - GAP FUEL BOWSER

Balfour Beatty have today (17th July) reported to CITS the theft of a GAP fuel bowser, stolen overnight from a railway track in Whaplode, Lincoln.

The evening before the theft, it was reported by an employee who was getting ready to leave the site, that the fuel bowser had a puncture. Due to the puncture they were unable to move the item back to the yard to store overnight.

It was therefore left 600m down the track from the road. When the team arrived to site this morning they discovered that the lock had been cut for the farmers gate, and the bowser has been stolen.

The stolen bowser has a fleet number that is etched in to the chassis, which is number: 3313780 .Police are now investigating the theft.
