FRAUDULENT HIRER IN COVENTRY
Late on Tuesday 1st October the Coventry branch of a national hire company received an order by mobile phone from a male purporting to be Mr James Rogers, the MD of Rogers Civil Engineering Ltd., also based in Coventry. The request came from this mobile number: is 07918 909996.
The originator wanted to hire a 5-tonne excavator, delivered to a residential address at Windmill Lane, Southam, CV47.
The order was identified as fraudulent and cancelled at the depot. The details were reported to Action Fraud and have been assigned reference NFRC241006920491.
