FRAUDULENT HIRE ATTEMPTS, SOUTH OF ENGLAND
On the 8th January 2025, a national hire company reported an attempted fraudulent hire of two whacker plates and a petrol disc cutter from two of its branches; Brighton (Portslade) and Southampton
The hirer provided the following details:
- Name of caller: Alan (07761 561244)
- Account: Graceland
- Site for delivery: Hove BN3 7BS
The account holder (Graceland) has confirmed the hire wasn’t generated by them and was therefore not genuine.
