GAP Giving is the GAP Group's Charitable Foundation which was set up in April 2015 with the primary aim of donating around 0.5% of the company's profits to charities nominated by staff.
So far in the financial year 2017 / 2018, GAP has donated a total of £61,042 to 70 charities.

Thousands of homes and businesses near a new bypass in rural Cheshire are being protected from burglary thanks to the use of forensic marking in an innovative partnership between Cheshire Constabulary and construction company Costain.
Cumbria Police and farmers are taking a joint approach in a bid to tackle sheep theft. Officers will work with farmers to launch a forensic marking scheme that will see a traceable solution - supplied by SelectaDNA - applied to livestock. It is hoped to be a preventative tool, as well as meaning that in the event of animals being stolen, they can easily be traced back to the farm.

PANIU, the Met Police’s specialist plant theft unit, has recently reported a 7.8% increase in thefts, year on year, and an upward trend in the theft of ‘compact-equipment’ which will fit in the back of a panel van. This latest theft fitted these trends, most likely carried out by ‘professional’ thieves.
